Example Defects
These are some defects that I have recently found on a number of sites. I have not included the URLs because of the potential for embarrassment. I've added emphasis to highlight the problem.
Here's a typical problem: A word that is spelled right but which is in the wrong context. As is often the case, it's a homonym for the right word.

I sent an e-mail to a company using an address posted on their site. The mail bounced back to me because the address was not working.
Clicking on a link labeled "resume hints" took me to a page explaining the company's payroll plan.
I tried to send in two different application forms regarding two different jobs at the same company. Submitting the second one resulted in an error page saying simply that something was wrong with the form. Upon contacting the company, I found out that the form was stored according to my name and e-mail address. They told me to enter a different e-mail address and it would go through; that worked. Basically, you can only apply for one job at that company!
