The first thing you might wonder is, "What makes this developer different; why should I select this one over all the others?" And I'd probably have to say, "Because of my unique set of experiences and abilities."

There are two major kinds of Internet developers: engineers and graphic artists. Engineers think more about functionality and are often interested in the latest technology; artists think more about visual appeal. In the first case, you get a site that is functional but often unappealing. In the second, you get a site that is appealing but hard to use or buggy.

In my case, I have experience both as an engineer and as an artist. As an engineer, I have developed and tested a lot of software; as an artist, I have planned and created a lot of drawings and paintings. The combination gives me a good background to provide you with a site that is both pleasing and functional.

Additionally, you want as many people as possible to visit and return to your site. Unless it is done right, many people will either be excluded from your site or will find it so unpleasant to use that they will only come back out of necessity. Among the various problems that you need to be concerned about are browser compatibility, download speed, and accessibility. Generally speaking, I try to provide sites that can be used by the widest audience possible while maintaining a pleasant look and feel.
